Final Reflection
Sound Familiar?
Do you notice your child struggling to calm down after exciting or stressful moments? Are transitions like bedtime or leaving for school often overwhelming and chaotic? Perhaps you’re wishing for simple, practical tools to help your child feel more secure, focused, and in control.
Breezy Breaths gives you the confidence to guide your child with playful breathing techniques that don’t feel like a chore. Whether it’s easing through tough transitions or creating moments of calm in your day, this course is here to make it easier—for both of you.
What are the goals of the course?
To improve emotional regulation by teaching children to use breathing techniques during transitions and moments of heightened emotion.
To support independence by helping children integrate diaphragmatic breathing into daily routines, such as bedtime or quiet time.
To develop sensory awareness by encouraging children to connect physical sensations, like the movement of their breath, to relaxation and focus.
To build resilience by equipping children with tools to manage frustration oradapt to changes in routine through controlled breathing practices.
Breezy Breaths is valuable for caregivers, educators, and professionals who work with children in early intervention or therapeutic settings from 3 and up (under 7 or over 7). It also has a section that refers to infants and having your own practice of being mindfully calm can help all ages in your interactions with children.
